2019 Porsche 991 Speedster
As an homage to its forebears, cars don't come much more desirable than the 991 Speedster. Paying tribute to the original 356 Speedster, G-Model, 964, 993 and 997s that precede it, the 991 version is the most special as far as driving experience and mechanical specification. Unveiled at the 2019 New York Auto Show and sporting the engine adopted from the GT3, it was equipped with individual throttle bodies and a new fuel injection system and developed 375kW at 8,400 rpm and 470Nm at 6,250 rpm. Driving exclusively through a 6 speed manual gearbox, the Speedster was designed purely as a drivers car and offered GT3 thrills in a sleek roofless body.
The Speedster was also the final edition of the 991 and this car is build number 1592 of just 1948 units produced globally. Presented in stunning special order Deep Sea Blue, it is the only one delivered in Australia in this colour.
