2020 Porsche 991 Speedster, a truly special and numbered collectible.
As an homage to its forebears, cars don't come much more desirable than the 991 Speedster. Paying tribute to the original 356 Speedster, G-Model, 964, 993 and 997s that precede it, the 991 version is the most special as far as driving experience and mechanical specification. The perfect combination of GT3 performance, open top theatre and a provenance rich lineage, the real Porsche KEEPER amongst a lot of marketing department "special editions".
Unveiled at the 2019 New York Auto Show in April and sporting the engine adopted from the GT3, it was equipped with individual throttle bodies and a new fuel injection system and developed 375kW at 8,400 rpm and 470Nm at 6,250 rpm. Driving exclusively through a 6 speed manual gearbox, the Speedster was designed purely as a drivers car and offered GT3 thrills in a sleek roofless body.
The Speedster was also the final edition of the 991 and this car is build number 975 of just 1948 units produced globally. Presented in the timeless Porsche hue of Guards Red over Black carbon race seats and the all important colour matched seat belts and stitch detailing.
