The 911 Turbo is a car that says everything well before it arrives. A car that needs no introduction and with each successive generation it just gets better and better (unlike its AMG and M-Division German brethren). The original G-Body 930 Turbo was released in 1976 and was immediately the performance car king, humbling and embarrassing the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini for significantly less money. Moving on through the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s the recipe just kept getting better and better, and somehow, faster.

The current generation 992 Turbo S we offer for sale here is the very best of the breed. Porsche seems to have perfected the art of defying physics and although the 3.7L Twin-Turbo flat-six produces a substantial power of 478kW, it somehow packs a far larger punch than the numbers suggest. The ability of the Turbo S to deploy that power through its sophisticated all wheel drive system and astonishing 8 Speed PDK gearbox mean 0-100 in around 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 330km/h. Independent testing has seen the 992 Turbo S repeatedly produce 10.1 second quarter mile times on a variety of surfaces whilst its much more expensive and powerful competitors struggle in perfect conditions to get anywhere near that. A quick search on YouTube will show hundreds of videos of the Turbo S shaming just about everything there is.
