2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast
The successor to the stunning F12berlinetta, the 812 received an updated (capacity and output) 6.5 litre V12 which at the time was the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated production car power-plant. With the F12 being the last Pininfarina penned Ferrari V12 tourer, the 812 was the first of its kind developed ‘in-house’ by the Ferrari Styling Centre. As the nomenclature suggests, this is an 800 (8..) horsepower V12 (.12) Ferrari, that is...well....super-fast!
Featuring the now legendary F140 GA V12, it generates a power output of 588 kW at 8,500 rpm and 718Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It does not feature turbocharging or hybrid technology which is why the 812 will always remain so desirable, the pre-2019 production cars such as this car also have the freer flowing exhaust and are not restricted by the update to Euro emissions standards that 2019 onwards cars have. Chanelling that prodigious power is a 7 speed DCT gearbox built by Getrag plus switchable drive modes for different driving conditions.With a 0-100time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 340km/h, there are still very few cars that can best an 812 in full flight.
