Aston Martin had proudly announced that they would be the last manual sports car manufacturer in the world, then they took a dog leg deviation on that promise. Was it a pure economics based decision or an incoming CEO committed to a cleaning the slate? You would have to think so given the sheer demand for analogue experiences in our sports cars in an age of interfering electronic drive aids and the exponential journey we find ourselves towards autonomous appliance based transportation.

Speculation and chin scratching aside, it is rumoured that just 6 examples of the 7 speed manual Vantage made it to Australian shores.

To their credit, Aston achieved what Mercedes and AMG could not. A manual transmission behind the now infamously capable 4-litre twin turbo V8, a tried and tested (on and off track) powertrain. This 375kw motor benefits significantly from the analogue cog swapper and is truly a drivers delight with a perfect blend of old and modern tech.

This highly optioned example was treated to the very best protection possible with a full Xpel PPF (paint protection film, 10 year warranty) and ceramic coating to preserve the deep onyx black metallic paint and a Scrape Armour under front chin guard to protect the front spoiler from daily driving mishaps. All exterior panels optioned in black and the tail lights smoked at factory.
