With only 440 first generation Viper produced, and the majority in the launch colour red (year 1 was red only), only 16 were thought to have been produced in this stunning Emerald Green over Tan leather interior combination. For US muscle, that is seriously scarce!

Beyond the scarcity, it is just drop dead stunning. For a colour combination usually reserved for the most prestigious British marques, it looks as much at home on the curves of this stunning Viper.

Preserved in completely original and unmolested condition, this time warp Viper has a mere 11,093 KM's on the odometer. The tan leather interior is unmarked and the paint shines incredibly in the sun with only a few minor blemishes under the front chin and near number plate surround on rear.

All original books and delivery stickers are present and perfect. The wheels are all original and unmarked with the correct tyres present. There is also the factory supplied wheel hub remover tool with factory part sticker intact. The second key remains as a factory supplied blank.

The factory supplied canvas roof and vinyl windows are in perfect working condition (probably because why would you ever use them!!)

The Viper program started with a statement from then-Chairman Bob Lutz, What if Chrysler Corporation could produce a modern Cobra?. From clay to concept, metal to market, the Dodge Viper design reflects its performance car intent, via its sleek flowing lines, wide low stance, and muscular detailing. The Vipers design could never be repeated in the modern context, nor could its singular focus and raw driver engagement.

Every aspect of the Dodge Vipers interior screams performance, from the airbag-less three-spoke steering wheel, to the manual shifter sitting proudly atop the centre console and the simplistic cabin layout, the Viper delivered on its brief. The contrasting and durable black-grey interior colour-way is punctuated by supportive, grey-leather clad, sports-bucket seats. Ergonomically, the Vipers cabin places everything close to hand with little to distract from the task at hand driving.

While the first test-mule featured a Hemi-V8, Chrysler President Bob Lutz challenged his team to deliver a V10 and did they deliver. 7990 cubic centimetres, 488-cubic-inches, 630Nm of torque, 298kW, 20-valves and 10-pistons, no matter which way you look at it, the Dodge Vipers Lamborghini fettled engine is massive. The huge engine rockets the American open-top to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds and all the way to a roof popping top speed of 165 miles per hour (265km/h).
